Beautiful Country Girl :)

I love my job because I truely enjoy going to “work”. On one given morning, I came to a lovely farm to photograph a beautiful little girl. She was so at home as we traveled around the farm, in the back of her daddy’s pickup truck, going from barn to barn, she kept the biggest smile on her face the entire time and was eager for the sight of a black snake or her favorite cow! This little country girl showed me everything from her goldfish pond to her daddy’s tractor and I loved every second of it!

A Thing of Joy!

These images completely speak for themselves. I was amazed by this little girl’s beauty and personality. Her bright eyes and vivid expressions were a thing of joy for my camera and I!

A Very Special Morning…

I recently photographed this special morning in DC. It was an honor to capture this important event in these four young lives. They each gave an amazing presentation and had family looking on at them with such pride. It was very touching and I am so happy that I was able to be a part of it.

The Most Beautiful Animals…

I have had the great pleasure of photographing horses lately. Gorgeous horses, including these two handsome Arabian horses. One is an old, gentle, thoughtful guy. The other is a young, drop dead gorgeous and he knows it kinda guy! It’s amazing to see the unique characteristics of these animals, each with a 100% individual personality. Their proud owner showed me her love for them as well as her female pittbull who looks super intimidating but she is anything but. This dog NEVER leaves her master’s side, so she made it into nearly every frame! It was a beautiful evening with lovely light and a great energy. My favorite part was when she hosed water onto the young handsome horse after he had all his “clean & pretty” images taken. After she cools him down with the water he ALWAYS goes to this circle of dry dirt and rolls around like a puppy and then he shakes it all off, it is quite a sight!

One Cool lil Man!

I loved photographing this boy! He just had that great expression and look to him. I love how tough he looks in some of these! Won’t these be hilarious for him to look back on when he’s in his twenties?? Especially the last one with the muscle arms and new tooth coming in!

Gorgeous Sisters…

These sisters were so fun to photograph! Not only because they are so beautiful but because they really had fun with it! Thank you ladies!!

The Cutest Boys in Town!

On so very many occasions I have seen these adorable brothers strolling through Shepherdstown. Whether at Mellow Moods, the Library, The Lost Dog, I see them walking together and they just melt my heart! I finally had the pleasure of photographing them. Such sweet, fun loving, and I must add amazingly musically inclined little fellows!

Animal Kingdom!!!!

I am so excited to share this photoshoot with you that took place just over a week ago. Remember that grandfather you just saw in the post below?? Well, this is his beautiful wife with her heart and soul, her gorgeous farm. This lady loves animals more than you can ever imagine! In these images you will see Arabian horses (the mother with her baby walking down the lane, that foal is just 7 days old!), a Neopolitan Mastiff (145 lbs.!!), 3 Bernese Mountain dogs, a Bull Terrier, as well as lots more beautiful horses!! Her oldest Bernese Moutain dog was very ill and only survived about 37 hours after this session. I am so glad I was able to capture her in these images to live in our memories forever, she is in the last image. RIP sweet Nikki… Thank you for letting me share in the joys of this farm, I will always be comforted by the sweet sincerity of animals.

A Grandfather’s Love…

There are not many things stronger in this world than that of a grandfather’s love. Any of you Shepherdstown native’s may recognize this proud Grandpa with his very first grandchild, a handsome lil grandson! This grandpa has ALWAYS loved babies and I just loved the way he looked at him and how proud he is of his lovely daughter! We had a lovely time together, what a beautiful spring day it was!
