My Daughter, My Love :)

When I was in California for 1o days, it was the longest I’ve been away from my almost 4 year old daughter. I missed her so, so much. I started digging up old images of her on my computer, kept in the “Random Sol” folder which contains all of the spontaneous images I take of her. I have never been able to do a full photoshoot with her like I would do for any of my clients. She has no patience for me with the camera and it never turns out the way I imagined. I took these images over the Winter during the blizzard. We all had such cabin fever and when she started jumping on our bed while Babaloo, our dog, her very best buddy, was trying to take a nap, it all looked so beautiful to me.

I want to apologize for blogging so little in the last months! Things have been so busy and it has been neglected badly. I am on a mission to stay faithful to blogging from now on! There are too many exciting things happening to not share! I just got back from shooting in San Diego for 3 days and then San Francisco for 7 days! I’m fallen head over heels for the city of San Francisco and all the awesome people and breath taking views there! I will have lots of images to share in the next weeks so stay tuned! I will also be traveling to Charleston, SC, NJ, NY and more this summer! I hope to give you lots of fun things to see on this blog!!!!!! I had a wonderful time photographing this beautiful animal! Italian mastiff “Islero” a sight to be seen! Such a gentle giant, I just loved his presence!! Look at those paws!!

Pictures With Santa!

This was my fourth year doing pictures with Santa and it keeps getting more and more popular each year! The turnout this year was unbelievable!! We were again at the fabulous Lulluby Lu’s Baby Boutique in Shepherdstown and had an absolute blast! Everyone was so excited about our approach to these images and were so happy to have a different option than the traditional “mall images.” We used original backgrounds and also used our trademark of creating space between Santa and the child giving more visual focus to the beautiful child and also making the little ones more comfortable being around the big man. It’s always quite scary for the children to sit on his lap and they are always more comfortable this way! We plan to continue this tradition each year and bring you new inventive ideas to spice up your child’s image with Santa!

Halloween

So I can’t even believe how long it’s been since I have blogged! Long story including my website getting hacked, opening the new store and being really super busy! However after many questions I need to get back on top of my blog!! Here are some portraits from Halloween, we did portraits at the store and had a blast. My Sol was a tap dancer and had some much fun helping me pass out candy and trick or treating down Main St., what a great day!!

Such a Cool Family

It’s very easy to see from these images that this is just a really cool family. I absolutely love their children, they are so incredibly beautiful, stylish, and with completely individual personalities. I really enjoyed my time with them and look forward to visiting them in their home town of San Francisco this winter since all of their friends are going crazy over their images so they asked if I would come to photograph some sessions for them, I of course obliged!

I apologize to all of my blog followers out there, I have been badly neglecting my blog but I promise you for all good reasons! I’m proud to announce our new storefront in Shepherdstown is complete and open for business!!! Also, my website has been completely updated and I have also added a site for our boudoir branch, Posh Pin-Ups! On top of all that I have also been very busy shooting I have been doing lots of high school senior sessions lately and oh my gosh do I LOVE them! They are so much fun! They are so fun loving and excited about their images, thank you all! More updates will be coming soon about our opening cocktail party in October to welcome our new space to Shepherdstown and we would love to have you there! Stay tuned for details!

A special Day For an Awesome Couple…

I recently photographed this beautiful wedding for a wonderful couple. They are the kindest, coolest, most down to earth people who shared an amazing day and I was so happy to capture it. The groom’s excitement was contagious as he could not have been more thrilled to be marrying the woman of his dreams! The sister of the bride, who was also the maid of honor gave a speech that had me all teary behind the camera, it was a day of great moments and wonderful memories. I am so glad to have been there..
